Asked for his abiding memory of the stadium, Pochettino said: "Now it will always be the last day".
"It was a very emotional game and emotional ceremony". "I'm so happy for our fans and we're so proud of everyone. I am so happy", Pochettino said. The manager commented that, "It is great to achieve second position and it is fantastic for us".
"It was ideal. the preparation of the game, the game - we played well, got three points - and then at the end the ceremony was flawless to share with the people, the staff, the fans, was flawless".
Tottenham legend Paul Gascoigne was absent from the club's White Hart Lane celebrations on Sunday as he wants to "focus on staying well".
I'm sad because Chelsea won the Premier League in the end but nothing to regret, we'll try next season to give our best and fight again to win the league.
"Tottenham were a team at the maximum of their potential, with all players, with all the motivation to win the last match at home", he said. How close you are to the fans, the special atmosphere and it's a pleasure to wear this shirt, to have done so here and to be the captain during the last game. It was a good cross, I just stuck a foot out.
All season, the new ground has been springing up, eating into a corner of the crumbling White Hart Lane.
The win ensured Spurs finished as the Premier League runners-up, but they are expected to face a hard summer in the transfer market, with interest in their star players from clubs at home and overseas.
The result means that Spurs have confirmed a second-place Premier League finish and are unbeaten at home this season. "We've got the team, we've got the belief, so next season hopefully it's our year".
