"This must be where Waller kept her Suicide Squad".
Finally, they come to a supposedly impenetrable vault. There was a second where Barry could have left Snart to be King Shark's dinner, but he didn't. Inside, the monster known as King Shark roams the room like a guard dog. In this way Savitar can make Barry's life miserable but still protect Iris, who he does have affection for and maybe even outright loves. All they have to do is lower the temperature in the room, and Shark will fall asleep for a short time. Barry and Snart then waltz in and steal and glowing red crystal. They get to the door. The show had yet to focus on the heart of her journalism career and she never got to marry Barry.
Snart tells Barry to leave him behind, saying, "Sometimes you gotta make a tough call".
Why did Barry bring up Baby Sara? They got to the Caitlin underneath. Patton is a good actress, but I'm usually not drawn to her the way I am to the other characters (probably because I always love the bad ones or the evil sides - looking at you Frost). She offers to let him use the crystal after all. The preview clip also shows a ruined S.T.A.R. Labs and a seemingly hopeless Cisco (Carlos Valdes).
Another possibility is that Barry won't end up creating Savitar. Barry is a good guy, and that's his strength. Did H.R. sacrifice himself to save Iris?
Quiz: Which Harrison Wells Are You? . Of course, it isn't Barry asking. H.R.is fine, but there's a version of Wells out there that is so much cooler. And this time, there was no turning back for Barry Allen. If Savitar did kill real Iris, where was the gun in the whole ordeal? So here a few ways in which I'm justifying to myself for the next week that Iris isn't really dead.
When Barry returned to the land of the living, Wally gradually moved toward the sidelines. With Barry pulling the speed force bazooka on Savitar, and recruiting Snart to help, they've proven they can tweak this timeline.
Cisco goes to meet Killer Frost to try and talk her down, though going at all pretty much fulfills their fated fight in the woods.
Look, there's an entire episode left, and as we've learned time and time again on The Flash, reality is a fairly malleable concept. But in the CW series, Infantino Street is not a place of optimism - it's a place of death. Everything he saw in his previous visions has fallen into place.
Jesse was a student of superhero history and eventually utilized the formula her father developed to draw power from the Speed Force to assist the Justice Society of America.
Uh oh. Nothing happens. Do you think Savitar is behind the switch? Picking up 24 hours before the death of Iris West, the hour opens with a melancholy montage of Team Flash's members either making last-minute adjustments to the Speed Bazooka or brooding because they haven't found a power source yet. In it, she recites their wedding vows. Somehow, there has to be a way for her to still be alive ... right? Iris dies in Barry's arms.unless he figures out how to save her next week.
Basing half the season around a potential fridging of Iris West does a solid enough job of pointing to it, but Flash has had a lady issue for a while, and it's namely "We don't really really know what to do with them!"
