To make things a bit more confusing, Motorola is hosting an event in Brazil on June 21. Of course, we don't even know whether Moto will come out and officially debut this phone, but I don't think it would surprise anyone if they did.
Motorola is expected to launch not only the Moto Z2/Force at this event, but also the Moto X4, its expected "battery king" and long-awaited next generation of the Moto X line.
Other rumoured features include a top-end Snapdragon 835 processor - that's the same chip used by flagship devices from Samsung and HTC.
As yet there are no details on what cameras the new handset will come with and also no information on what storage options will be available.
Motorola is expected to launch several smartphones in the coming days and the company has also already sent out press invites for events that will be held on June 21, 27 and reportedly 30.
So we are assuming that these two devices to be similar and that this mysterious device could be the successor to Moto M smartphone which was launched past year.
Talking about the premium Z series, only Z2 Play has seen the light of the day. "Motorola is back", says the teaser that is now circulating on the Web. We don't have additional specs, but it's a good bet that 4GB or 6GB of RAM will go in it alongside the processor, as well as a dual camera setup and a big, high-resolution display.
In the single-core test, the Motorola-branded smartphone scored 1879 while in the multi-core test it scored 6503. The rumored smartphone prototype spotted on Geekbench was running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
With the June events not far away, it remains to be seen what surprises Motorola has planned.
