Nishita's father Nirmal Indu, is an IIT alumnus, who is now the president of a private firm in Odisha, and mother Himanshu is a housewife who is a graduate in pharmacy. She was studying in Kota-based Allen Career Institute of Kota.
Apart from her excellent academic record, Purohit is also a national-level basketball player. Earlier, there have also been accusations against these institutes that they "buy" the best students by offering them financial incentives, the best teachers, accommodation and world class facilities for free to ensure that the chosen ones get the top ranks. She replied by saying that classroom learning was the most important part but it should be followed by self-study and homework completion on daily basis.
In an interview to a national daily, topper Nishita said, "I was not sure about the topper's rank in AIIMS but was certain about being selected for AIIMS". She said that she would make her own short notes for all subjects but was quick to add "but not much". "I did not open a facebook account but used WhatsApp for contacting teacher to clear concepts related to the exam", she added.
Candidates, who will fail to qualify the exam, will not be intimated about it. The exam was conducted triumphantly at various test centers the results are going to be declared on 14th June 2017.
The AIIMS MBBS result 2017 will declare rank wise as well as roll number wise.
