Roseville, CA- Roseville motorists are enjoying more late spring relief as gas prices face more downward pressure.
Average retail gasoline prices in CT have fallen 4.0 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.48/g yesterday, according to GasBuddy's daily survey of 1,540 gas outlets in CT. Drivers in Charleston-North Charleston pay the most at an average price of $2 a gallon.
New Haven- $2.42/g, down 4.3 cents per gallon from last week's $2.47/g. On Monday, the region's average price for a gallon of regular was $2.229, down from $2.235 the previous day and $2.304 a week ago, the AAA data showed.
In Nebraska, the average price Monday was $2.23, down 3 cents from a week ago and 7 cents from a year ago.
Crude oil prices hit an eight-month low last week at $44.46. Stores in Minnesota, a state that tends to follow North Dakota when it comes to gas price trends, were selling gas at a slightly higher average of $2.29. The lowest national rate this year was $2.27 on February 1 and 8 and the highest was $2.42 on April 24.
AAA Michigan says gas prices statewide have fallen by about 8 cents per gallon in the past week.
