Alves proved last season with his form for Juve that he can still play a pivotal role even at 34, helping the Bianconeri to the Serie A and Coppa Italia double, as well as reaching the Champions League final.
Daniel Alves has announced he's leaving Juventus.
The 34-year-old has been released from his contract at the Italian champions and is set to join Manchester City in the coming days.
The player also rejected an offer of one more year at Juventus, to finally play in England.
"I think that my respect for this club and its supporters was my dedication, my passion and all the efforts to make this club a greater club every single day". This was never my intention, I just have a very spontaneous way of approaching life that few people understand... even though it appears that I am not ideal, however, my heart is pure.
"Today our professional relationship ends and I will carry with me all of those who with love and true heart make Juve a great club".
Alves is now on holiday in his homeland but is thought to be ready to fly halfway across the globe to complete his transfer to City, and the deal will go ahead in the very near future once I Bianconeri complete the final tidbits of his deal before ripping it up completely. "I don't know what's happening".
But Parry said a move failed to materialise because the club made a decision to spend the money on two players rather than one.
"I love football and money will never keep me in any place".
