The aluminium composite panels have been used for decades to help insulate buildings and improve their appearance, but the Grenfell disaster has prompted hard questions about their regulation.
County Hall in Cork has similar cladding panels to those which were found on Grenfell Tower.
The Welsh Government said last Friday that it was urging social landlords to have samples of cladding tested.
