This is particularly important for rendering high res textures, since both consoles aim to offer 4K quality. That's £100 more than Sony's PlayStation 4 Pro which was released past year.
Spencer also suggested there are plenty of scopes for virtual reality and mixed reality gaming in the future of Microsoft's flagship game console.
That being said, I think it will do better than PS4 Pro mainly because it's more powerful and because it has more features like true 4K gaming and 4K Blu Ray disc support.
Xbox One X will launch on 7 November 2017 alongside Xbox exclusive action game Crackdown 3.
"The money-making part is in selling games", he said, showing that Microsoft will rely on titles to drive up its profit from the Xbox One X. "Getting the trademark for Scorpio is really hard", explains Spencer, "When we do names, you have to pick global names for things". Spencer claims that the Xbox One X is on another level compared to Sony's top end console to date.
For his part, Spencer believes the Xbox One X is on an island all its own in the console market and doesn't actually have a competitor. After all, creating a third version of a game will incur extra time and money. According to Phil Spencer many of these games will be enhanced and remastered to run on 4K graphics.
