White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said during a Monday press briefing that President Donald Trump was "joking" when he told Russian Federation he hoped they could "find" former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton's emails. Trump added that Obama "didn't 'choke, ' he colluded or obstructed". "With 4 months looking at Russia.under a magnifying glass, they have zero 'tapes" of T people colluding. There is no collusion & no obstruction.
Conway was referring to a quotation in the article by a former senior Obama administration official involved in the Russian Federation discussions who said the Obama White House's handling of the Russian Federation hacking was "the hardest thing" for him to defend from his time in government, and added, "I feel like we sort of choked".
Trump also questioned why Obama administration officials took no action on Russian Federation before the election.
Due to ongoing allegations by the US intelligence community of Russian interference in the USA election and a scandal about possible collusion within Trump's team, not everyone in the White House thinks such a meeting is prudent.
A legal review of the cyberweapons, developed by the NSA, determined their use would be a "proportional" response (as required under global law) to a variety of scenarios involving Russian cyberattacks targeting, for instance, the next presidential election or the USA power grid.
But Democrats have expressed frustration that the Obama administration did not more prominently address the issue ahead of Trump's surprise election victory.
"He expected Clinton would win", Trump tweeted about his predecessor.
This apparent change of heart may be in reaction to the recent Washington Post article confirming the existence of intelligence showing Russian President Vladimir Putin was personally involved in efforts to try to hurt Clinton and to elect Trump.
Mr. Trump also blasted the Obama administration and asked why the Democratic president failed to impose sanctions prior to the election.
"I think it's pretty clear that they knew all along that there was no collusion", Spicer said, "and that's very helpful for the president".
Johnson specifically cited Trump's repeated claims on the campaign trail that the system was "rigged" against him.
"When a rogue nation threatens to undermine democratic governments and has taken bold steps toward trying to influence election outcomes in democracies across the world, including ours, we need to show some urgency and do something about it, not sit around and wait for something bad to happen again", Suozzi said.
"Could've been China, could've been a lot of different groups", Trump said.
Appearing Sunday on Fox News' Fox & Friends, Trump said that if Obama had the information about Russian meddling, "why didn't he do something about it?"
"President Obama knew about Russian Federation a long time before the election, and he did nothing about it, but nobody wants to talk about that", said Mr. Trump in an interview on "Fox & Friends" that aired Sunday.
"Obviously I don't have all the understanding of what they knew or when they knew it, but there does seem to be a bit of hypocrisy in terms of what they didn't clearly do if they truly believe all of this was happening", Spicer said.
The Democrats have become nothing but OBSTRUCTIONISTS, they have no policies or ideas.
