The upcoming smartphone is expected to ship with Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box.
The smartphone manufacturer is yet to officially reveal the release date of the Moto G5S Plus but its launch is imminent as more details, including the specifications and live images, have been leaked over the last few weeks.
It may be mentioned that its predecessor Moto G5 Plus has a 5.2-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 1,080x1,920 pixels (424 ppi pixel density), a 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM, a 32GB/64GB storage.
While mobile computing technology is evolving at a fast pace, mobile phone manufacturers have been focusing towards advancements in the camera setup and now Moto is catching up to the dual-camera trend in mid-range smartphones which was started a year ago. The leaked image of the back panel of the phone shows us dual cameras on the device.
In a separate report Lenovo is also gearing up to launch the Moto E4 Plus expected to be the successor to the Moto E4 handset
Looking to build upon the sales of its Moto G (5th generation) devices, it's rumoured that the company will be launching another device from the same series - dubbed the Moto G5 Plus S. According to earlier leaks, the phone will come with two 13-megapixel cameras on the rear end, one of them coloured and the other one back and white.
As far as other features are concerned, the smartphone is expected to feature a fingerprint scanner, selfie camera with LED flash and Dolby Atmos Audio support. The users can add bokeh (depth-of-field) effects to the images with this dual set up. The image showed that the device will come with a Snapdragon 625 processor and also the EMEA label can be seen. There will be an 8 MP front shooter for selfies and for video calls. This could mean that the smartphone will be available for purchase in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
While the device is slated to be officially launched on 25 July, Motorola and its owner Lenovo have not been giving hints of the super charged phone's design and specifications.
The recent rumors suggest that the Moto G5S Plus will see the light of the day on July 25 in NY.
