A new phone named Xiaomi 5X has popped up on a Chinese poster, revealing all its specifications.
Apart from that, the poster reveals that the Xiaomi 5X will be coming with a 5.5-inch display. The new sub-brand, for now, is said to be 'Lanmi, ' under which Xiaomi will initially announce two phones, as per numerous reports. On the design front, the upcoming Xiaomi phone is expected to feature an all-metal body that looks fairly premium, despite being a mid-ranged smartphone. There is also a possibility that the device may draw its power from 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 octa-core processor.
The high-end variant of the Xiaomi 5X will be powered by the Snapdragon 660 SoC, clubbed with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
The phone consists of the 12-megapixel camera on the rear and has a 5-megapixel camera on the front and is supported by a massive 5,300Mah battery. The Xiaomi 5X will run the Android 7.1.1 Nougat layered with MIUI 9 on top, according to the report. The company tried out with the device apart from the excellent features, and the affordable price tag "flash sale" strategy. That means you can either use this as a dual-SIM phone without memory card option or single-SIM phone with memory card option. The device is expected to have 4GB of RAM.
