The render comes by way of OnLeaks, and given the leaker's track record, it's fair to assume this is what the Nokia 9 will end up looking like. The rumored Nokia 9 will be a flagship phone, and now we have a good idea what it looks like thanks to OnLeaks' latest collaboration with Compareraja. Now, we've seen leaked pics of the smartphone earlier suggesting a curved design but here we have the clearest CAD renders yet. The Nokia 9 will apparently sport a 5.5-inch display with very slim bezels and a curved glass panel on the front. The Nokia 9 is speculated to have 4GB of RAM and may have 64GB and 128GB storage options. You'll also notice the USB Type-C port on the bottom, a vertical dual camera setup with an unsighty hump and a fingerprint sensor. Despite boasting of Carl Zeiss lenses, Nokia's camera on the Nokia 8 was hardly anything to write home about. The camera module itself looks pretty similar to Apple's design already and protrudes from the back of the handset. The Nokia 9 is also expected to come with all the other usual Nokia features, like OZO audio and microphones for active noise cancellation. Unfortunately, the headphone jack is missing once again.
As for the release, rumours have it that HMD Global will launch all the three new Android phones at the MWC 2018, which is scheduled to take place between 26 February and 1 March in Barcelona.
HMD Global is expected to launch the next-generation Nokia 9 smartphone soon. Rex Fryover, HMD Global's head of sales in the US, confirmed via email that the Nokia 8 "is not properly banded for the USA", according to NokiaPowerUser. The phone is said to come with a bigger 5.7-inch display that will be nearly be almost bezel-less.
