It seems that HTC is all set to launch a new smartphone at an event on November 2 in Taipei, according to a leaked press invite. The U11 Plus will likely feature the Snapdragon 835 processor with 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. It is going to a successor to the HTC U11, which was a power-packed handset but couldn't stand ground against Samsung's innovating Galaxy S8.
However, let's hope that the HTC U11 Plus will turn up to be a worth upgrade from the U11, and we shall find out in a couple of weeks. This is leading us to believe that the phone in question is the HTC U11 Plus. Like the U11, the U11 Plus is expected to be another flagship from HTC. It is expected feature 5.2-inch screen, 3GB/4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB storage, 16MP primary camera and Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 CPU.
The HTC U11 Plus will have a single 12-megapixel camera on its back and an 8-megapixel camera up front. There are expected to be two storage variants - one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage and other with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device is also expected to come with IP68 certification.
Since the HTC U11 Plus will be another flagship smartphone, consumers should expect a premium price tag. Additionally, HTC will include IP67 water resistance and Edge Sense functionality. One of the smartphones is said to come with mid-range range specifications and is meant for Google's Android One program.
HTC U11 Plus will sports 6.0-inch screen having 2880x1440p resolution and industry flagship phone standard 18:9 aspect ratio on par with Pixel 2 XL and LG V30.
Like the HTC U11, the Ocean Life device is said to feature the same Edge Sense technology.
