Meanwhile, Chloe Grace Moretz, who plays C.K.'s character's daughter in the film-the character is a teenager who engages in a relationship with a much older filmmaker-apparently dropped out of all I Love You, Daddy promotion two weeks ago, her publicist tells the L.A. Times, because Moretz "was made aware of numerous possible accusations".
A day after five women spoke out about sexual misconduct they encountered at the hands of the comic, and hours after Louis C.K. released a statement confirming their "stories are true," FX has announced that it is ending its association with the writer/director/actor/producer.
According to reporter Linsey Davis, Corry was reminded about the sexual misconduct a decade later, in 2015, when Louis C.K., real name Louis Szekely, called her to apologise for his actions, but the chat left her even more disturbed than she had been at the time of their initial exchange. "I just did not want to have anything to do with shutting down production and having Louis C.K. removed", Corry told "GMA". "People made jokes about it all the time", she said. He is now under fire after five women claimed in the Times that he either masturbated in front of them, asked them to watch him masturbate, or masturbated while on the phone with them, a pattern of inappropriate behavior that allegedly went on for years. "I wanted to do my job". But what I learned later in life, too late, is that when you have power over another person, asking them to look at your [genitals] isn't a question. I would have dealt with it then. I didn't think that I was doing any of that because my position allowed me not to think about it. "And I wielded that power irresponsibly".
Netflix has not deleted Louis C.K.'s existing specials as of now, the company has released Live at the Comedy Store in 2015 and another TV Special documentary entitled Louis C.K. 2017.
"Louis's unprofessional and inappropriate behavior with female colleagues has led us to decide not to produce a second stand-up special, as had been planned".
FX said he would no longer serve as executive producer or receive compensation from the four shows it had been producing with him.
HBO was the first to act, dropping him from its upcoming Night of Too Many Stars charity event.
