The struggling Broncos offense has only managed 18.3 points per game and cost offensive coordinator Mike McCoy his job this week. Unfortunately, the Broncos have seen none of that, with Lynch only throwing 83 National Football League passes, hitting on 59 percent of them.
The Denver Broncos are done with the predictable carousel at quarterback, the one with two horses that lead to predictably disgusting results in Brock Osweiler and Trevor Siemian. Lynch lost back-to-back training camp battles with Siemian for the starting job and had not practiced until earlier this month because of his shoulder injury. Denver is just trying to stop the bleeding, but expect their misery to continue for at least another week as the Raiders win and cover here to ensure a.500 season at best for their division rival.
Of the three quarterbacks, Lynch should benefit the most from the offense's simplification. He averaged 5.99 yards per attempt and amassed two touchdowns and an interception to go with a 1-1 record. If he does play for us, it's got to be a system that fits Paxton. "He's practiced the last two weeks". Opposing teams have completed almost 73 percent of their passes against Oakland, and the Raiders have yet to intercept a pass. He also had one interception and two fumbles. But, I talked to the trainers and the coaches, and like I said, they've done a good job so far and I feel great.
Osweiler was asked Sunday if he felt the Broncos would try to get Lynch into the lineup.
