Unlike in China, Xiaomi hasn't launched the 8GB RAM variant with the cermaic unibody design. The aluminium alloy frame model comes with 6GB RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage and the ceramic variant comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It is priced at Rs. 35,999 and comes in Black color. But these may or may not be legit, but seeing how they've turned up pretty early, it seems possible Xiaomi is already setting sights on an improved Mi Mix 3. Up to this point, only the White Ceramic Edition was available. The Mi 7 is expected to come with a glass back which indicates that it will support wireless charging out of the box.
The only thing that differentiates the Starck Edition Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 from the original model is the presence of the designer's signature inscribed on the back of the handset.
The package also includes limited edition case for the device along with a signed certificate of collection. The device will go on sale from November 28th.
Mi Mix 2 Starck Edition comes with a price tag of 4,999 Yuan ($758). According to the leak, Xiaomi Mi 7 will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 chipset and feature a Samsung-made 6.01-inch AMOLED display. There is no MicroSD card for storage expansion or the 3.5mm headphone jack for using standard headsets. And now, a leaked prototype image has surfaced that shows alleged design of the Mi Mix 3.
In terms of optics, there is a 12MP Sony IMX386 sensor on the rear with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, and 4-axis OIS. The front camera of the smartphone has facial recognition feature. On the connectivity front, the device offers 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Global Positioning System with AGS/GLONASS and USB Type C. Unfortunately the device lacks 3.5mm headphone jack but instead, the device will be shipped with a USB Type-C dongle. We don't think the company will launch the Mi MIX 2 Philippe Starck Edition outside of China.
