This week, that preview has arrived, but you've had to go looking over at Samsung's semiconductor page, where the maker of the Galaxy smartphones has talked up a new generation in processor technology, as its 10 nanometre hardware hits version 2.0 with a few benefits. Don't expect drastic design changes with the Galaxy S9.
Even if the reports are wrong, we are glad to know that Samsung is reacting faster to Android updates. The company couldn't pull it off and placed the sensor in a rather awkward position on the back, making it hard to reach. The S8's fingerprint scanner placement was something that many didn't like.
This led to speculations that Samsung might have enough time to flawless the technology before it launches the Galaxy S9.
While a new color variant could be in the works for the Galaxy S9 duo, it may not be available for all carriers or regions. However, the flagship phone will get a dual-camera setup, just like the Galaxy Note 8.
Elsewhere, concept images of the Galaxy S9 have also surfaced on the web, which suggest that the handset will look quite like the current Galaxy S8. The bezel-less design and the removal of the home button will also bring the Galaxy A series closer to Samsung's Galaxy S flagships when it comes to the aspect.
It has to be noted that the Galaxy Round, which made its debut in 2013, is the world's first phone with flexible display, but it only had curved AMOLED-based concave screen with refreshing gesture feature [see below].
Lately, we have been hearing a lot of rumours on Samsung's flexible display phone Galaxy X and now, the company has officially confirmed its existence.
Release Date: Its been rumored that the phone will be launched earlier than the Galaxy S8.
While there's no information regarding prices yet, but we predict the price to be no less than $900-$1000.
