The carrier is now selling both phones at a $300 discount, but as usual, this comes with several caveats. Apparently, online shopping giant Flipkart has woken up to this challenge and is now offering the Google Pixel 2 for as low as Rs 39,999, which is about Rs 20,000 lower than the original price tag.
First things first: these are the same phones Google is selling in its store, save for the fact that bootloaders can not be unlocked. Once there, choose the finance option that spreads the cost over 24 months. The Pixel 2 draws power from a 2700mAh battery. Unfortunately, that was for customers that would walk into a nearby Verizon store.
Google Pixel 2 is the Google's latest Smartphone while the Pixel 2's price is terrifying the buyers.
I should point out that the 50% discount on the Google Home is only partially accurate. DSP Processor: Qualcomm Hexagon 682 DSP GPU: Adreno 540, CPU: Up to 2.35 GHz octa-core Kyro 280 processor, 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, 64bit, Memory: 4 GB LPDDR4X RAM, Storage: 64 GB or 128 GB UFS 2.1 storage. Google says Pixel 2 has greater high dynamic range, optical image stabilisation, and a portrait mode that doesn't use a second camera but dual-sensor image technology. The Pixel 2 is water resistant as well.
Pixel 2 XL (128GB storage model): $27.08 per month for 24 months.
The standard Pixel 2 XL doesn't appear to be suffering from the same issues.
Following the design language of last year's Pixel phones, the smartphone features a 5 inch 1920 x 1080 px OLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top for protection. Here's hoping that a similar deal arrives soon for the Pixel 2 XL, which will make it more palatable for users who are interested to buy a big-screen device from Google.
