The London Mayor took to Twitter and thanked Punjab CM Shehbaz Sharif for the hospitality provided during his stay in Lahore during the Pakistan tour as part of the mission to strengthen economic ties with the South Asian countries.
London Mayor Sadiq Khan arrived in Pakistan on Wednesday for a three-day official visit.
He wrote, "The Pakistani community makes a tremendous contribution to our city".
Khan, earlier in the day, visited Golden Temple in Punjab.

I fully appreciate the real disappointment that many Indians have felt about the British Government's decision to make it more hard for Indians to gain visas to work and study in the UK.
He said that he hopes for good deals, friendships, and partnerships and added that London's citizens have rejected the process of hatred and divide.
"As someone of Pakistani heritage, I feel a deep affinity with the country and I'm looking forward to going back".
"The main reason I am here is to spread the message that London is Open for business, friendship, and trade", he said while speaking to the media in Lahore.
The London mayor reaches Lahore through Wahga border along with his 16-member delegation.
