The award for YouTube's top trending video of the year goes to one from Thailand called "Until We Will Become Dust - Oyster Mask", a clip of a performance from a singing competition show called The Mask Singer, in which competitors wear elaborate masks to hide their identities.

Who can forget Despacito, Fidget Spinners, Salt Bae, Ed Sheeran, eclipse glasses, "Humble", and Marshmello? You can see the "anonymous" DJ throughout the video, demonstrating how completely mello has dominated pop-culture and dance music in 2017.

The video has more than 182 million views on YouTube. It was produced by Beth David and Esteban Bravo at the Ringling College of Art and Design. Latin artists claim six spots with Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's "Despacito" sitting pretty at number one with a history-making 4.4 billion views.
