We expect to get a glimpse of more skins leading up to the event next week.
A new skin for Hanzo, previously seen in Overwatch comics, will be available alongside new Legendary skins for Junkrat and Roadhog. King's Row and Hanamura you might remember from previous updates while Black Forest is completely new. You can once again enjoy the Global Snowball Offensive mode that has a team of Meis throwing balls of fresh powder at one another, but you can now play that mode on the Black Forest map as well. The latter will be getting the appropriate holiday decorations along with Kings Row and Hanamura who got theirs past year.
Aside from cosmetics, Mei's Snowball Offensive will also return from a year ago, which pits two teams of Meis against each other in a snowball fight-style conflict. It'll include everything from last year-skins, the Mei snowball fight mode, etc-as well as an entirely new boss fight mode. Essentially, it boils down to 5 Mei players taking on resident big lad Winston, who also happens to be player controlled. The five terrifying Meis hunt the Winston through a version of Overwatch's Nepal map, and the Winston has to collect packs of "meat" to fuel his primal rage. Meis can flee and regroup with the aid of ice walls and ice traps. If Winston kills enough Meis, he wins.
"I know a lot of you are thinking it sounds kind of silly and kind of ridiculous", said Kaplan of Mei's Yeti Hunt.
Winter Wonderland 2017 begins on December 12.
