In the optics department, the smartphone is likely to feature a dual rear camera setup with 4X optical zoom. Being packed with such a huge set of specifications, the new Vivo Xplay 7 smartphone could be the most expensive Vivo smartphone till date. The renders accompanying the slides show an iPhone like metallic design up front, with a thin bezel up top while the bottom is all screen with a display embedded fingerprint scanner below.
After Vivo's launch of the Xplay 7, we can expect smartphones with 10 GB of RAM to become mainstream. Underneath its hood it may be powered by Qualcomm's latest and most powerful Snapdragon 845 SoC (System on Chip). The smartphone sports a 6.43-inch full HD+ display with 1080x2160 pixel resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. This would be for the first time Vivo is using a flagship chipset from Qualcomm. The release of the smartphone is tentatively scheduled for spring of this year. Vivo is expected to unveil the device at MWC next month.
