For the eagle eyed among you, you'll notice there's a new category there which Google has launched specifically for next Wednesday - Valentines Day.
Those living in United States or Canada are more fortunate as they are able to make a photo-book on the app and order one for their loved ones in time for Valentine's Day on February 14.
You might have seen Google Photos automatically creating these movies for you before, but now, you have the ability to create one whenever you want.
How to make the themed movie? Partners and lovers can take on a movie-making project with active help from Google. From there, you will be prompted to choose your theme and the people (or pets) that will be featured.
Google Photos users can make these themed movies by heading over to this link, opening the Google Photos mobile app, or using Google Assistant (the link is easiest if you're already on a computer). Once completed, users will have the option to edit it if they aren't satisfied with the result and then share it.
The same type of functionality appears to be getting a test in Google Photos as sources have reported getting notifications that an item in Google Photos has been shared with them from another user.
If you're in the U.S. or Canada and looking for a thoughtful way to show someone you care, you can also create a photo book in just minutes from your computer or phone.
