We've seen a lot of new colors, but now, we're hearing that the LG V30 will be getting a new variant with special features at MWC... It is reportedly said that the LG V30s will have in-built AI-capabilities, embedded to the software. The company planned variants of many of its current smartphones.
The LG V30s smartphone to be priced at 1 Million won which is around $920.
"We will introduce at MWC for V30... upgraded version (sic)", CY Kim, MD, LG Electronics South Africa told press at an event in Cape Town. If a massive amount of onboard storage is important to you, the V30S will be music to your ears. However, the LG V30s will have an internal storage space of 256GB, but the other hardware specifications would remain the same. The LG V30 comes with 64GB of memory storage option.
Although it is certain that LG is bringing an upgraded version of V30 at the Mobile World Congress, the branding of this phone continues to be a mystery.
In terms of its design, the LG V30s would be designed differently but yes, it would acquire kind of the same design of its predecessor with additional changes. Essentially, LG Lens is like Bixby Vision or Google Lens in which it can identify objects, locations, QR codes, and more using your camera. The feature allegedly utilizes the LG V30s' camera and AI to show product details and online shopping info.
The new camera platform is said to allow users to shop for household items by using the camera, and as Android Authority notes, it will be able to translate foreign languages natively and will go big on augmented reality, perhaps bolstered by the phone's dual-rear lenses. As per the news, the company will unveil this phone at Mobile World Congress and would make it available for purchase from Korea on March 9. We would get to hear some more official information regarding this phone in the coming days.
LG confirmed to the Korean Herald that the company does plan to showcase new features at MWC 2018, but did not reveal whether a new device will be unveiled.
