A low-priced Dutch flight en route to Amsterdam via Dubai had to make a sudden - and absurd - landing at Vienna because of an aged passenger who refused to stop "farting". Ever after repeated pleas and complaints to the plane's crew, the man continued to fart stated a Daily Mail report. While an aircraft does have good ventilation system, the small space and close proximity of passengers can really make an outbreak of nasty wind coming from someone's bottom a tough one to deal with. It's unclear whether the passenger had a medical condition that caused the flatulence.
However, included in the individuals asked to disembark from the plane were two sisters who, according to a spokesman for Transavia, were aggressive and foul-mouthed during this whole ordeal.
A spokesman for the airline told local media that the four people have now received a ban from any further travels, and in order to complete their journey they needed to find another airline to take them to Amsterdam.
An eyewitness was quoted as saying that Transavia's reaction to the situation was "overly".
Following the dispute the pilot made an emergency at Vienna International Airport in Austria, when on board officers along with police dogs escorted four involved in the fight off the plane.
And when he allegedly refused to stop a fight then broke out - forcing the crew to intervene.
However none of those removed from the aircraft were arrested because they had not broken any Austrian laws.
A video clip of the incident went viral after it was shared on social media by Alfred Dekker. That's why we do not let it sit.
A spokesperson from Transavia said in a statement, "Our crew must ensure a safe flight. They know very well where the boundaries are", he said.
