A listing on Amazon Germany suggests that publisher Take-Two could be gearing up to release Grand Theft Auto V Premium Edition. There doesn't seem to be any listings for any other platforms. Speculation however, is that the oft-requested patches for the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X may be released alongside the new editions of the game. Rockstar Games now hasn't made any announcement regarding this Premium Edition of Grand Theft Auto V.
Grumbling aside, this is probably worth picking up - one of the issues with GTA Online is the economy, because if you want the dream gadgets you'll have to be either a maniac with infinite free time, or willing to cough up real pounds for fake dollars. GTAIV introduced online play, but GTAV's version of GTA Online is much more fleshed-out and continues, many years after release, to receive updates and various one-off events to keep players plugging away.
Gamers, however, won't see the in-game money as soon as they access the game online.
Grand Theft Auto has always been an all-encompassing kind of game, but what GTAV brought to the series was a new kind of longevity. The listing was made for the Xbox One, but presumably it should also eventually make its way onto the PS4 and PC. Of course GTA V owes a lot of its success thanks to its online counterpart, GTA Online.
"We are expecting another record year for Grand Theft Auto Online", Take-Two Chief Executive Strauss Zelnick said on an earnings call.
Presumably it will include a copy of the game, some in-game bonuses for GTA Online, maybe some shark cards, and so on.
