Fresh from releasing God Plan's viral music video, Drake has a lead of 2,000 sales and streams on today's Official Chart Update. "We gave it all away", the video states, "don't tell the label".
Most rappers use music videos as an excuse to get super outrageous (and that's perfectly fine), but Drake just dances around in a hoody, giving people his money.
Drake rocked the worlds of countless individuals on February 5 through his philanthropic actions as featured in his music video for "God's Plan". Drake is seen to enter the supermarket with a megaphone and says, "Anything you guys want in this store is free".
Hip-hop star Drake spent several days surprising residents throughout Miami-Dade County, giving away tens of thousands of dollars, buying groceries, and even gifting a few luxury cars. "God's plan, I can't do this on my own, no", Drake sings in the new single.
The money went to poor families for food and toys for the children, students on school fees, homeless women and children who are building a youth club in Miami.
The rapper also uploaded an Instagram story, which was screen captured and tweeted by Complex Music, wherein he challenges people "to just go out and do something for someone, anything, the smallest thing just to bring another human being some joy".
