Hardy was driving northbound on the Concord Parkway Saturday when he ran off road and hit 105 feet of guardrail before spinning out on control, according to the arrest report obtained by CBS Sports. It was estimated by police on the scene that Hardy did $8,000 of damage to his 2016 Cadillac and $5,000 to the guardrail itself. However, there were no reports stating if Hardy had sustained any injuries in the accident.
"Driver of Vehicle #1 ran off the roadway to the right, in turn striking about 105 feet of guardrail before the back end of the auto spun out 90 degrees to the left, coming to rest in the middle of the right N bound lane of travel".
According to Carrabus County Court records, Hardy is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, April 16; eight days after WrestleMania.
"Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own personal actions".
Although the details are not yet known for the latest run-in, it could potentially delay the former WWE champion's return to the spotlight.
Hardy had reportedly been given the OK to get back into the ring following surgery he had previous year. The report also indicates Hardy underwent some sort of test for alcohol but that the results were pending at the time of the arrest.
