While the company traditionally offers two models of its Android devices, this spring may see that strategy shift to three releases as the base variant of the OnePlus 6 is still expected to have 64GB of storage space. The new Avengers: Infinity War motion picture is not going to be released until the 27th of April around the globe, and we completely expect to see the OnePlus 6 release before that date. As we are nearing the announcement of the 2018 flagship, the company is teasing the device revealing its key features.
In the image above, the OnePlus 6 is placed directly under the OnePlus 5T. The volume rocker stays put in the case of the OnePlus 6 though. Gesture support was added for the OnePlus 5T beta recently and could be making its way to the OnePlus 5 soon. As most of you might be aware, the OnePlus 6 is going to be powered by a Snapdragon 845 SoC, the most powerful chipset that Qualcomm now offers. While we can verify Lau's claims only when we get our hands on the device for a full review, leaked OnePlus 6 benchmark certainly suggest that he could be right. The selfie camera is a 16MP sensor. Having said that, the OnePlus 6 will definitely not be a weak performer in this segment. But powerful hardware alone doesn't guarantee the best-possible user experience.
Elsewhere, the OnePlus 6 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and one of its versions will come with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. We are yet to witness the launch event of the flagship killer to know more details about what the company has to roll out its sleeve this year. It might be that the company wants up to compare both the smartphones from the sides, as the side profile of the upcoming flagship is the only thing that is visible.
