Leaked screenshots reveal what's in store for browser users, including a number of new features that are now only available inside Google's mobile apps. It includes a fresh design, but not just a new UI. Additionally, the new Gmail is reported to have Smart Replies, which, for those who don't know, offer machine-learning generated replies to your emails.
One thing shown that we weren't previously expecting is a new sidebar found on the far right.
Google last overhauled Gmail's web look in 2011, opting for a more spaced-out, cleaner look as part of an effort to unify the way its products appear on desktop and mobile.
On the recipient's side, the person was using the existing version of Gmail and received a link to view the confidential email.
Rumors are flying that Google is on the edge of releasing a major update to the web version of Gmail - one of Google's most widely used products, boasting at least a billion users.
G Suite is Google's cloud computing arm which also manages productivity and collaboration tools, software, and products developed by Google. Smart Reply provides suggestions to quickly reply to emails and Snooze lets you temporarily remove emails from your inbox until a certain time.

Perhaps, Google might begin disabling the former on its own apps. You can access your calendar directly from the Gmail interface. While it's possible the final design may end up looking quite different, it does match a description of the new design provided to TechCrunch today.
But Google has trained their AI to separate voices that talk at the same time, and they showed the public how it's done by using a video recording.
The design - which looked more like the mobile app - could give a clue as to how the latest update will look, writes the Verge.
Google has stated that the new Gmail design may be rolling out in a few weeks.
