The Walking Dead: Maggie justified turning to dark side

After the Saviors surrendered, Negan and Rick attacked each other. "Look at what you did", Negan gurgled.
Aaron and the women of Oceanside are another interesting change, as they show up in the final battle wielding Molotovs against the Saviors.
Negan is subdued, and it's actually Dwight who declares the end of the war and says much of the speech that is given to Rick in the show.
Though it was clear to everyone that Dwight didn't voluntarily lead the survivors into Negan's trap, not all of them were ready to fully forgive him for past transgressions. Though they question it, they create their strategy accordingly.
There wasn't any fighting to speak of at Hilltop either, where another group of Saviors had been dispatched. Initially, she was his hostage while he had surgery and then chose to move to Houston in a takeover bid that would see him as the Texan equivalent of Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) in Fear's companion program, The Walking Dead.
How awesome was it seeing Gabriel "Lady Bird" himself out of Negan's vehicle? He could kill Negan. It was before Eugene was taken, we had had that storyline.
Despite the departure of Morgan to join "Fear the Walking Dead", the show must do relatively little reloading, a challenge it has regularly faced (and one of the things that has kept the narrative fresh), sometimes with uneven results. Negan's hand gets injured, and he immediately knows that Eugene messed with the bullets. Negan tries to make a run for it and hides behind the tree, but Rick sees him. He met Rosita. And those people infected him with humanity.
"Carl said it doesn't have to be a fight anymore", said Rick.
In the end, Rick wrote Carl a letter of his own, thanking his son for bringing "all of us to the new world". We did not tell him. Negan counts down and, for a brief second, thinks that maybe Rick is right. Then he tells Siddiq to save him, and Maggie flips out. This is the one thing we didn't see coming. "And anyone who can't live with that will pay the price, I promise you that". Not meaning to, that's just where it goes. He believes that there has to be something afterwards. Tara helps the community evacuate but hangs back to buy the group some time.
Quiz: Would You Survive on Fear the Walking Dead? . All their guns exploded in their hands, courtesy of defective ammunition designed by Eugene (Josh McDermitt), who had secretly switched allegiances again.
Except when it's not, since Morgan himself doesn't want to be around people anymore. Here are a few things we learned from four of the actors. The two boys agreed with her.
Maggie and Alden are totally going to hook up, right?
In the woods, Dwight is with Daryl. Daryl instead showed some mercy, throwing keys at him and telling him to get the hell out of town. He tells him to go and keep going. She wasn't there, but she left a note for "D" with the word "honeymoon" on it.
A serene Carol (Melissa McBride), realizing the value of community, returned to the Kingdom. And Gabriel prays in his burned-down church. So if The Walking Dead is basing Georgie on Pamela, then comic readers won't have too much of an advantage over TV viewers for once. Pamela seems stern, but she's also compassionate. Daryl backs her up.
"When it comes to Fear the Walking Dead, our core group never developed endearing qualities like Rick Grimes" group used to have, nor did they reach the full badass charm that's made Negan so popular.
Rick, Michonne (Danai Gurira) and Maggie (Lauren Cohan) fell for it, eventually finding themselves surrounded by Negan's forces. And what became of those scenes of a red-eyed, tearful Rick from the season 8 premiere? She's part of Volume 30: A New World Order.
That's a wrap on recapping Season 8.
I was surprised that Eugene did what he did. Just how long will bygones be bygones?
However, I have a feeling that Maggie and Daryl may put a kink in those plans. It's hard to know what the future will hold for him, as his comic self died when the zombie horde overran Alexandria. Georgie does not appear to be identical to another character in The Walking Dead comics, there's no other character with her name, and her arrival might be breaking new ground in the series. I hope that the people who have been watching that show still see what they love in the show, which I think are the characters. Michonne too. So we're gonna bide our time, wait for our moment. Stay tuned for updates on what happens from here. unless you're giving up. Leave us a comment in the box below with your thoughts.
The Walking Dead will return for season 9 in the 2018-2019 TV season on AMC.
