Stoke City manager Paul Lambert had nothing but praise for his team despite them conceding an added-time equaliser at West Ham United on Monday and was convinced they could still produce a great escape to maintain their Premier League status.
West Ham have only won back-to-back Premier League games at the London Stadium on one previous occasion back in December 2016.
But Carroll came off the bench to rescue West Ham with a superb volley in the 90th minute.
"We've still got four games left, we've got to win them, no-one's safe, and we've got to keep working".
"It is a blow because we were so close to winning".
"I thought all three subs played really well when they came on but I have to say, I didn't think we'd need them because I thought we had played well enough to be in front", Moyes explained. I thought we played a really good game. I couldn't ask for any more from my players'.
The goalkeeper has only just got back in the West Ham team after losing his place to Adrian at the end of November.
"If we can do that (beat Burnley), it will set the cat right among the pigeons", said Lambert.
The Hammers drew 1-1 at Chelsea last week and now return to the London Stadium, knowing that another three points can haul them further clear of the relegation zone.
A victory for the visitors would have seen them move to within three points of safety and keep West Ham in real danger of going down.
Oliver and his wife were subjected to social media threats over the incident that led to Juventus's elimination.
And after West Ham's equaliser, Javier Hernandez had a goal disallowed for a foul by Carroll.
Stoke's best chance - bar the goal - came moments after Arnautovic's disallowed goal when Diouf blazed over from six yards out.
