In an apparent jibe at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supremo Imran Khan, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif said on Wednesday that the "chosen one" had become accustomed to following diktats from "the top". The duo had a disagreement on the overstay of her son from her first marriage at Bani Gala (Imran's house). The presence of Bushra, Maneka's son from his former husband Khawar Fareed Maneka, however, annoyed Imran Khan.
It said that Imran Khan's sisters - who were not happy at his third marriage - were residing in Bani Gala residence and were actively involved in its renovation, adding weight to the suspicions that something was fishy between Imran Khan and his wife.
However, what irked Maneka was that the dogs returned and were seen wandering around the house.
The presence of dogs reportedly interfered in the religious activities of Maneka due to which she wanted the expulsion of the dogs from the house.
The Pakistan cricket team captain had married Bushra, who was his spiritual guide, in Lahore on February 18, 2018.
Meanwhile, other media reports in Pakistan have reported that Bushra was unhappy with Imran's pet dogs. He has previously been married to Reham Khan and Jemima Goldsmith.
Cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan's third marriage is also facing a stormy weather.
However, when Bushra's son overstayed at Imran's place and the couple had an argument on this, she left for her ancestral town named Pakpatan district which is almost 250km from Lahore.
His second marriage was with Reham Khan, then a TV anchor, which continued barely 10 months.
The 40-year-old Maneka is a mother to five children from her first marriage.
