Taking a jibe at the Bharatiya Janata Party, he said the Congress' manifesto was released after consultations with every community while the BJP's manifesto will be prepared by the RSS.
"The aircraft on a special flight (VT-AVH) from New Delhi to Hubli suffered serious malfunction and tilted heavily to one side during the course of the flight", a party official and Gandhi's aide Kaushal Vidyarthee said in the complaint. "The weather outside was sunny, normal and not windy", said the complaint. "The plane landed at Hubballi around 11.25 am while continuously shaking and making audible sounds", he wrote. "The crew was also apparently petrified and admitted that the flight was particularly frightening and uncommon", the complaint continued.
The incident was reported to Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) by the operator, M/s Ligear Aviation. According to the report, it was a snag in the auto-pilot mode.
"Today Congress President Rahul Gandhi and other passengers were travelling by special flight from Delhi to Hubli".
Vidyarthee has also said that the aircraft was finally able to land only in the third attempt. Such autopilot incidents are not uncommon. For any VIP flight DGCA investgates thoroughly.
Earlier on Thursday, Congress president Rahul Gandhi hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi on a graft issue, accusing him of supporting mining baron Reddy brothers.
Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah, and other senior party leaders were also present for the launch.
"Modi, who talks about fighting corruption, must explain to the people why he is supporting the corrupt Reddy brothers by giving ticket to contest in the state assembly polls", said Gandhi at a public meeting in this coastal town.
