Sanjay Dutt, who kicked off Girish Malik's upcoming direcorial Torbaaz in Kyrgyzstan's capital Bishkek in December last year, has returned to the city and this time, the 58-year-old actor is joined by four young co-stars. More recently the film has been making headlines for Ranbir Kapoor's stellar resemblance to Sanjay Dutt.
If one remembers, 90s is the phase where Sanjay Dutt went through a major life transformation, not only in his movies but also in life generally.
The looks give a deja vu to some of Sanjay Dutt's most loved films like Saajan and Aatish from the 90's.
Ranbir imitates the expression, with an eyebrow peaking upwards a la Dutt in the latest poster. The film traces the journey of Sanjay Dutt's life right from his youth to the present.
Interestingly, Sanju director Rajkumar Hirani had directed Sanjay Dutt's most popular franchise as well and reliving the character with Ranbir while filming the Sanjay's biopic was nostalgic for him.
Produced by Vinod Chopra Films and Rajkumar Hirani Films in association with Fox Star Studios.
