He also said that his wife had been "drinking throughout the day" and called him a "p***y" and a "loser" when he played poorly.
Lucas Glover, who dropped out of the tournament Saturday after shooting a 78, said the incident began with a bad round of golf.
"My wife and mother were involved in an argument to which the police were called", Glover opened.
Hershey Glover, the golfer's mother, allegedly attempted to intervene on her son's behalf.
According to Lucas Glover, three times PGA Tour victor, this is the reality every time he messes up on the golf course.
'Wait till the tour (PGA) hears about this, ' she yelled, according to the report. She was arrested on charges related to domestic violence during the weekend of The Players Championship. That would explain the notes in the police report that she refused to get into the patrol auto, tried to wrap her legs around the doorway to keep from getting in, and also reportedly said that "this is why cops get shot in the face".
Hershey Glover also told the deputy she had been hit in the chest.
After Krista was arrested, Lucas allegedly started to change his previous statement, as well as Krista's dad, who also was at the scene, according to the report.
Krista Glover, 36, was arrested by St. Johns County Sheriff's deputies late Saturday in a house the couple had rented during the tournament at Sawgrass TPC in Ponte Vedra Beach. She was reportedly released on $2,500 bond on Sunday.
"Everyone is fine", Glover tweeted.
Glover confirmed on Twitter there was an altercation. A native of Greenville, S.C., and a former all-American at Clemson, Glover first made the Tour in 2004, has twice competed in the Presidents Cup, has career earnings of more than $20 million and is now 104th in the world golf rankings.
Glover later released a statement on Twitter asking for the public to respect their privacy.
