According to the post, it seems that the Pokemon RPG on the Switch could borrow some elements from Niantic's Pokemon GO, which isn't surprising given the success of the game. That's all changed as of today, as Nintendo made a move that just dropped a bunch of gasoline onto the fire. In Recent news, it was reported that domains for Pokemon Lets go Pikachu and Pokemon lets go Eevee have been registered.
CSC Corporate Domains has registered Pokemon websites for Nintendo before, including the official Pokemon Sun & Moon website domain.
The rumors point to the Let's Go! games being revealed before the end of the month, so we'll be sure to let you know if the rumors pan out!
Rogers followed up on this claim with a longer blog post, where she stated that the Pokemon game (s) for Switch will be announced before the end of May, and that the branding of the titles "might raise a few eyebrows". Obviously, none of this info has been verified yet, so we'll just have to wait it out until Ninty drops an official reveal. So much so that long-time developer Game Freak has taken notice and is looking at ways to improve on it. In essence, that would make it a remake of a reimagining of Pokemon Red and Blue. Linking the console and mobile games was also mentioned, though to what extent remains unknown. The same company is listed as the registrar of Pokemon.com as well.
With E3 on the horizon, rumors about the Pokemon titles coming to Nintendo Switch have kicked into high gear.
Joe Merrick of the Pokemon news site Serebii.net was the first to report the news. The Pixelpar Twitter account, which has been teasing Pokemon Switch announcements for a while now, has also been dropping hints regarding Pikachu and Eevee's prominence in the RPG. Hopefully, all the rumors will be addressed and we will have something decisive to work with.
