Although hardware specs of the Galaxy J6 are scarce as of now, rumour has it that the phone will come with a 5.6-inch 720p+ AMOLED display and an Exynos processor inside. The Galaxy J line-up is Samsung's most potent line-up in India, with the company going on to claim that there are as many as 60 million active Galaxy J phone users here.
Well now, Samsung is said to launch four new smartphones in India next week, one of which is the Samsung Galaxy J6 that has been confirmed for launch. The renders show that the unannounced Galaxy J series handset will come in two colour options. Yes, the Galaxy J6 will go on sale in India right from the next day of its launch. It will look to capture the market share once again with the feature-rich Galaxy J6 which has the iconic design language of the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S9 series. Samsung Mobile India has tweeted out a video of the upcoming launch. "It's coming to take you #ToInfinityAndMore". The Galaxy J6 (2018) cost is listed as INR 15,000 thats around $220/190, below the expected price of 250. The invite includes the text "Say Hello to Infinity and More", revealing that the company will be launching devices with Infinity displays at the event. The Android smartphone will reportedly be powered by an octa-core Exynos 7870 SoC coupled with 2GB, 3GB or 4GB of RAM. The phone will likely whip with Android Oreo software and because Samsung has been pushing its Samsung Mall AI-based smart shopping service on nearly all its budget phones, chances are it may do the same with the Galaxy J6 as well.
With that being said, the Galaxy J6 also seems to have a flash on the front, and we hope that it will have a fingerprint scanner on its back, otherwise you will have to make do with Face Unlock if you are lazy enough to unlock the smartphone by using PIN/Pattern/Password.
