Square Enix unsurprisingly opened its show with Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
Atop this, the grappling hook now has more tethers than ever (i.e. you can tie more stuff together with it), retains the booster rockets and now fires "air lifting balloons" (not fultons, obv) that can be attached to objects.
Unfortunately, details are pretty much non-existent at this point, but we'll see it launch sometime in 2019 for PlayStation 4 and PC.
Square showed off a slice of gameplay that shows hero Lara Croft doing some Assassin's Creed-style stealth murders.
So far, we've seen a new trailer for "Kingdom Hearts III," the first in the series to be available on Xbox at Microsoft's E3 briefing. Final Fantasy XIV and Monster Hunter: World are joining up to make two groups of nerds incredibly happy. The YouTube description for the trailer sheds more light on the title, though, saying that it's a "story driven cinematic action experience seamlessly blending high-production live action, realistic CG and pulse-pounding action gameplay".
More information was promised in August, which perhaps means Gamescom. It also tells us that the game can be completed in one sitting, so The Quiet Man is definitely an intriguing game.
The game will have a very large focus on action.
The Amazing Adventures of Captain Spirit will release for free on June 26.
