According to the order, the Unbroken director has to tell her children that the "court has determined that not having a relationship with their father is harmful to them", and that they have to have a healthy relationship with both herself and Brad.
The judge further ordered Jolie to arrange a phone call with the kids and their doctors to explain to the children that "the court has determined that each of them are safe with their father".
It was recently reported that Pitt had ensured that his next film, director Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is filmed in Los Angeles, thereby enabling him to be near the kids.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's ongoing custody battle has taken another turn, with the feuding exes coming to a temporary agreement for the summer. Maddox, 16, was left out of these plans because according to the court, he is old enough to decide how long he wants to stay with each parent.
Pitt and Jolie share six children, Maddox, 16, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 9. The Fight Club actor will have physical custody of the minor children (all but Maddox) for four hours a day from June 8 to 17 in London, where the Maleficent actress rents a house. "Angelina wanted the kids in Europe for the summer and Brad would not do that because he is filming in Los Angeles", the insider said, adding "Brad felt like he actually had a say" and that the court was seeing his side as well.
Angelina Jolie needs to start playing fair with her estranged husband Brad Pitt or she could risk losing custody of their children.
Pitt will choose one or two of the minor children to see at a time and during this period, he gets to spend time with each child at least twice.
Pitt then gets custody for 10 hours per day from June 27 through July 1, once again designating one or two children to be with at a time. Then in July, he'll get 10 hours before working up to getting the kids for four consecutive days. The court also said that a child therapist will be present, either for the visits themselves or to check in with the children after the visits.
A rep for Pitt had no comment.
Pitt was cleared of allegations of child abuse by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services in November 2016. It is Jolie's responsibility to fly them to LA, and he will fly them back to London.
