In April, Law&Crime Senior Editor Ronn Blitzer looked at the possibility that Cohen might flip on the president.
Cohen released a preview clip for the project to Twitter on July 4 which allegedly not only takes pot shots at the former reality star turned president, it also takes direct aim at his affiliated Trump University brand.
Cohen, whose home, hotel and office were raided by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in April, has been under criminal probe in NY for bank fraud and campaign finance violations.
In the weeks since, Trump has slowly distanced himself from his longtime friend, confirming they were no longer working together last month. Trump took to both Twitter and YouTube to lambast Baron Cohen's antics, calling Baron Cohen's stunt "a disgrace".
Cohen said he would "put family and country first" when considering what he should do regarding that criminal investigation.
He likewise broke with Trump's criticism of federal investigators. And he has told people he is preparing for an onslaught from prosecutors, who have been poring over documents seized in raids on his home and office, and a public relations onslaught from Trump's associates, who have indicated they will raise questions about Cohen's credibility.
In television interviews Sunday, Giuliani expressed confidence that Cohen does not have any potentially incriminating information to share with prosecutors, saying he had "zero" worries. He also denied the President's claims that the Federal Bureau of Investigation treated him poorly when he was raided, calling the agents "respectful, courteous, and professional".
While Trump continues to rant, Isla Fisha's husband is shown in a smart suit with a further caption advising: "Sacha graduates". Cohen's clip ends by throwing shade at the infamous Trump University. Trump also tweeted about the incident at the time. Roughly a week later he pleaded guilty in special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation to lying to the FBI and agreed to cooperate with the Russian Federation inquiry.
ABC News has reached out to Cohen for comment.
