Olivia Newton-John has revealed she is receiving treatment for her third bout of cancer as well as sharing details around a secret second fight that took place six years ago.
Olivia Newton-John has confirmed she's facing her third battle with cancer.
The courageous star told Sunday Night that she has undergone radiation therapy, and is also using natural remedies to help cure her.
"The chorus goes, 'On those days that nobody wants to know you and all your dreams keep falling on stony ground, don't stop believing you'll get by, '" she said.
She said, "I believe I will win over it".
As reporter Alex expressed his sadness, on behalf of all other Aussies, she added: "I'm one of millions in this journey".
Speaking of her "secret" second bout of cancer, Newton-John reveals the diagnosis came about in May 2012 following a vehicle accident involving her niece TottieGoldsmith.
Newton-John said she made a decision to keep her second bout of cancer to herself.
It came just months her sister, Rona, passed away from brain cancer.
"In California, it's legal to grow a certain amount of plants for your own medicinal purposes", she said.
She said the treatment is going "really well" and she's optimistic for the future.

Her husband, John Easterling, founded the Amazon Herb Company and grows cannabis which helps treat her.
"I live in this lovely place". And, um, I'm a very privileged person, and I'm very aware of that. "I have a wonderful husband, I have all the animals I adore, I have an incredible career".
She told Sunday Night host Alex Cullen: "They sent John Travolta to my home to talk me into it".
