Additionally, all Assassin's Creed Odyssey players will have access to recurring free in-game events, introducing challenging enemies and daily quests. Players will be able to choose whether they play each episode as it appears, or to wait and experience the story all at once upon the release of the final episode.

Ubisoft has revealed some ambitious DLC plans for Assassin's Creed Odyssey, with two new story arcs being released episodically over the next year as well as remastered editions of Assassin's Creed III and the PlayStation Vita game Assassin's Creed III: Liberation. In a surprising saga filled with twists and turns, players will get even closer to Greek mythology and the First Civilization.
Season Pass holders will have access to an array of goodies including two free Assassin's Creed games, and two significant storylines with three episodes each. Coming spring 2019, episodes will be released approximately six weeks apart. "Both Remastered editions support 4K and HDR on PS4 Pro, Xbox One X, and PC, as well higher-resolution textures, an improved lighting rendering system, and other graphical improvements".

Free episodic quest lines will release regularly in-between episodes, providing a constant flow of new stories for players to discover. Ubisoft says it wants to provide "a continual stream of new content to all players, with quests that feature new and familiar characters".
Weekly and daily "contracts" will be handed out, and players will have to track down an epic mercenary or ship to defeat. Players can traverse the entire interactive 3D recreation of Ancient Greece, free of conflict, time pressure or gameplay constraints, after launch.
Future Updates: These updates will include monstrous and mythical creatures to battle, a New Game Plus mode presenting new challenges and the ability to see how different choices affect players' stories and many more.
Assassin's Creed: Odyssey - Cloud Version launches on the 5th of October in Japan.
