Another interesting feature new to Mojave is the Continuity Camera, an overhauled way to insert photos or documents from an iPhone to Mac apps.
Still, if you're considering any of the fancy new iPhones from Apple, but you already own an iPhone, you should wait until iOS 12 becomes available before making a final decision. Meanwhile, those waiting for macOS Mojave to hit their Macs will need to wait until September 24th. This way, you can have a better understanding of your digital habits and change them as you deem necessary. Just keep your Siri Remote and internet connection handy when 17th September arrives. If you want to use iOS 12 before the vast majority of people, all you need to do is join the beta.
The watchOS 5 update will be compatible with the Apple Watch Series 2 and newer models. With the iOS 12 update, Siri will be able to do more things like help you find your misplaced mobile devices including your iPad, iPhone, or AirPods. But Apple will also roll out a bunch of new tools with the update that will streamline your experience and in the end, make it a lot more enjoyable.
Before downloading iOS 12 users are recommended to backup their phone while it is still using the iOS 11 as a precaution. GM is the final build, which will be released to the general public on September 19, at least for majority. macOS Mojave might arrive a little later.
Upgrade to watchOS 5 as soon as you upgrade to iOS 12. Some of my Keyboard Maestro macros have stopped working, and I haven't yet been able to figure out why.
You have verified, through community comments or discussions with developers, that your essential apps-particularly utilities!-will run properly in Mojave.
