Eden Hazard can score 40 goals this season and win the Premier League Golden Boot, according to Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri after the Belgium forward scored a hat-trick to maintain the club's flawless start to the season.
After Antonio Conte often struggled to get the best out of Hazard last season, Carragher feels that new boss Sarri is letting the diminutive superstar flourish claiming "he's been used really well by the manager".
Eden Hazard has the potential to score 40 times in a season, according to ex-England global Stuart Pearce, but it will be impossible for him to do so at Chelsea.
"If he wants to play for another season I think it's right he tries to play". He's got so much freedom and the intricate football we're playing is ideal for him.
Chelsea legend Pat Nevin has insisted that the Europa League is the ideal opportunity for fringe players in the Blues squad to try and impress Maurizio Sarri with their performances. He also has arguably the best first touch, dribbling ability and close control in the Premier League and, at 27 years old, he is operating at the peak of his physical and technical powers.
"Sarri has raised his concerns around our defending and at times you can see why!"
The midfield maestro - who is playing in an advanced role - bagged a hat-trick against Cardiff.
"I think, okay, we can play better, we should play better, but we scored four goals and it's a good game for us". "I should say that, I think he should have won player of the tournament", expressed Carragher.
Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey, reportedly a target for Liverpool, has been told to avoid a move to Chelsea as Eden Hazard remains at the London club.
He felt Hazard spent too much energy in the opponents' half, collecting the ball when he could be working further upfield and scoring more goals.
'Am I very relaxed? "So I think it's normal that in this period we have some defensive problems". He's going to score goals and he's going to perform in the way we want and we expect.
