To celebrate the launch of the upcoming device, the company is hosting a Samsung A Galaxy Event on October 11, 2018 at 5:00pm (MYT). Samsung is planning a counterattack with the launch of the Galaxy S10 that is rumored to integrate triple-cam setup, but, according to the latest leaks, that will not be the first Samsung model with three rear cameras.
As you can see, the J6 Plus features a dual rear camera setup while the J4 Plus only features a single rear sensor. Does Samsung's first triple-camera phone tickle your fancy at that price? It seems like a good way to stand out in the crowded market.
The screen on the Samsung Galaxy A7 is a 6.0-inch Super AMOLED Infinity Display with FullHD+ resolution (1080x2220 pixels). Under the hood, the device is powered by an unspecified octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz. Samsung is offering three memory and storage configurations - 4GB + 64GB, 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB. Yet you could now get your hands on them for far less thanks to some new mobile phone deals direct from Samsung that make them even more tempting.
Naturally, there's also a front camera which comes with a selfie-friendly 24-megapixel sensor. With Pro Mode, you immediately gain access to a range of settings that give you full reign over the camera. The Galaxy A7 also supports Dolby Atmos to offer an immersive sound experience. The device will be available in select European and Asian markets beginning in the fall, with Samsung planning to release the handset to other markets in the near future. The dimensions of this model measure 41.9×45.7×12.7mm and it weighs 49 grams while supporting 22mm interchangeable straps. Instead, it has a boring name that doesn't do it justice: The Galaxy A7.
The Galaxy A7 will run Android 8.0 out of the box and support Bixby, Samsung Pay and Samsung Health. It was previously thought to be announced during the event, but that will now be exclusively dedicated to the launch of the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro, it seems.
