The Razer Phone 2 comes in two variants. While the front looks nearly the same, the back of the phone is now covered with glass which enables wireless charging.
The Snapdragon chipset 845 received a new water cooling system. Let's discuss the features, one at a time! The company believes that the aspect ratio of 16:9 is best for multimedia and gaming.
For instance, the 5.7-inch IGZO QHD LCD is now 50 percent brighter, with the maximum brightness now at 580 nits. Having said that, the display on the Razer Phone 2 has a refresh rate of 120 Hz, just like its predecessor. Keeping everything cool is Razer's vapor chamber cooling system which helps better dissipate heat under load. Being a gaming device, avoiding thermal throttling has always been a goal for the company. The phone has 8 GB RAM with 64GB storage and you can expand storage up to 2TB.
Internal memory: 64 GB (UFS), support for microSD memory cards. To enhance the photography experience, Razer ditched Samsung for Sony sensors and improved the lenses. A new dual-camera setup is included on the back of the phone, which has now been moved from the upper left-hand corner to the centerline of the phone.
One is a standard system while the other is a telephoto that allows for zoomed in shots that retain high levels of detail. The device also offers 4K video recording. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel camera. It can now record up to 2160p at 60fps and 1080p at 120fps.
Now, the firm is hoping to right its wrongs with the newly released Razer Phone 2. They're Dolby Atmos-certified with a dedicated amplifier to get crisper, louder sound with water protection. As the phone doesn't have a headphone jack, the phone comes bundled with a 24-bit DAC USB C to 3.5 mm dongle.
4,000 mAh Li-Po battery with Qualcomm QuickCharge 4.0+. Game Booster is a built-in app which allows for tweaking performance for games.
Razer has announced the second iteration of its gaming-focused Razer Phone. Due to being a stock version of Android 8.1 you wouldn't feel any lag in the performance.
The Razer Phone 2, to add to the grand scheme of things, is also IP67-rated and supports wireless charging.
As a novelty, the manufacturer has incorporated Chroma technology to illuminate its logo located on the back of the mobile, with various lighting effects, programmable by the users themselves thanks to an application. Razer is also launching a few accessories to go with it-an attachable game controller, a case, a screen protector, and a wireless charging station. Don't worry, you can adjust the brightness for lower visibility in dark environments, or if you just want to boost the battery life a little. Are you planning to get this handset? The Razer Wireless Charger is $100. On the front side, the phone comes with glass penal on the screen that protects it from minor scratches.
As for the entry-level model Razer Blade 15, prices start at S$2,499.90.
