It's no surprise the Giants co-owner is in a bad mood, considering his club sits dead last in the NFC East with a 1-5 record.
Beckham broke his monthslong string of model teammate behavior earlier this month when in an ESPN interview he voiced his frustration about the organization and the offense, some of the comments coming across as shots at Eli Manning.
While Pat Shurmur is planning to stick with the roster he has - including Manning at quarterback - the least the team can do is try to improve on what now ails them.
"Bro, I'm sorry that I'm not gonna apologize from my heart", Beckham said.
Clearly, the Giants need to move on from Manning.
"I wish [Beckham] would create the headlines by his play on the field as opposed to what he says and what he does off the field", Mara said at Tuesday's National Football League owners meeting. "I can't stand up here and make any excuses about that". "I still. we still believe in him, but everybody needs to do their jobs in order for us to be successful, and right now that's not happening".
A wise man once said: you don't have to say everything that enters your mind.
With Eli not being able to throw the ball beyond the line of scrimmage and the defense having more holes than a block of Swiss cheese, Giants fans are furious - although not as furious as head coach Pat Shurmur.
Meanwhile, the Giants have signed former Denver Broncos receiver Bennie Fowler and placed linebacker Ray-Ray Armstrong (concussion) and wide receiver Cody Latimer (hamstring) on injured reserve.
Coming off a Thursday night loss against the division rival Philadelphia Eagles, the Giants will be in primetime once again in Week 7 as they head to Atlanta for a Monday night matchup against the 2-4 Falcons.
