Unlike some other recent Apple devices - specifically the Mac mini and the new MacBook Air - the 11-inch iPad Pro turned out to be something of a DIYer's nightmare, with gobs of glue holding everything down and making fix troublesome.
iFixit's teardown of the 12.9-inch iPad Pro actually comes in video form, which you can see embedded below.
Much like the new iPad Pro, the iPhone 11 is expected to get a slim down for a more pocket-friendly finish.
This is a great shot by iFixit, showing board bits and capacitors flying off during the removal of the Pencil charger shields from the iPad Pro during the teardown.
Powering both the models of iPad Pro 2018 is Apple's own A12X Bionic 7nm chipset. The new Smart Keyboard Folio for the new iPad Pro is available in space grey at a price of Rs 15,900 for the 11-inch model and Rs 17,900 for the 12.9-inch model. The new 12.9-inch model is smaller than last year's variant. The new SoC has more than 10 billion transistors.
Face ID is new to the iPad Pro series in 2018. Owing to FaceID, the Apple iPad Pro 2018 also lends support to Animoji and Memoji which works both in portrait and landscape mode unlike in iPhones. Both the stores are also offering attractive launch offers on the new Apple devices like 5% cashback on EMI transactions via Citi credit cards and Axis Bank cards.
The new iPad Pro 2018 also comes enabled with FaceID in combination with the TrueDepth camera. Apple's devices usually score low, meaning they are hard to fix, the new iPad Pro is no exception with a score of 3 out of 10. With a compact, award-winning design that allows it to be carried virtually everywhere, to its USB-C compatibility, to its ability to project a display as wide as 100 inches, the M1 transforms the iPad Pro from a powerful professional/personal tablet to a screen that can be shared with a group of people, be it to display a presentation, showcase a design, or watch a movie.
