United manager Jose Mourinho is ready to sell Ivory Coast defender Eric Bailly, 24, and Argentina worldwide Marcos Rojo, 28, in order to bring in a new centre-back in January.
"Myself as a coach, I need to learn a lot and for that reason I think I will go to Manchester and Mourinho to ask him a lot of things", the 58-year-old said.
He added: "Over the summer we had a good pre-season tour to the USA and while we couldn't have all of the first-team squad with us, due to many of our players advancing deep into the knockout stage of the World Cup, it provided a good opportunity for many of our emerging prospects to experience being part of the first-team set-up".
United have endured a hard season so far and are now 12 points behind Premier League leaders Manchester City, following a 3-1 defeat in Sunday's Derby. "I give Pep credit for making the most of what Johan Cruyff left".
"I have said on more than one occasion that tiki-taka was not invented by Guardiola. It was 'Flaco" Cruyff. "Only that now Pep can choose any player in the world he wants so the tiki-taka is easier that way".
He is aiming to take Dorados back to the first tier of Mexican football.
When asked why it was Mourinho he wanted to learn from, Maradona replied: "Because he is the best, without a doubt". 'Who'd have thought they would have gone to Turin and win? 'I'm struggling (to understand that).
